How to sort bio-waste
How to put bio-waste in a container? With or without a bag?
Bio-waste can only be placed in a container with a fully biodegradable and compostable bag, a paper bag or in bulk. In addition, a liner bag can be used to keep the container cleaner, which must also be fully biodegradable and compostable.
The Brykkar bio trash can can be used both with and without a biodegradable bag. If you use without a bag, you can remove the contents of the trash can and take the bio-waste to the container with the bucket. Then wash the bucket with plain water and dish soap or use a dishwasher.
Bio-waste must not be placed in a container in an ordinary plastic bag. Bio-waste is taken from homes to recycling and if it contains plastic bags, the larger bags are removed from the waste, but some plastic particles may still remain in the waste. These plastic particles can then end up in nature and from there into our food. The waste carrier can also refuse to transport bio-waste in this case or submit multiple invoices for the transport.
